About the Program

This training is for those who feel ready to stay with yoga beyond technique.

If you are a teacher or practitioner who senses that yoga philosophy cannot be rushed, skimmed, or reduced to quotes, this immersion offers a steady, structured way to deepen your relationship with the teachings.

Over ten weeks, we will explore foundational yogic texts and ideas not as abstract theory, but as living frameworks that inform practice, teaching, and daily life.

This is not a survey course. It is an invitation to slow down, ask better questions, and develop continuity in study.

Is This for You?

This training is for you if —

  • You teach yoga and wish to deepen your philosophical grounding.

  • You practice regularly but are not drawn to a full YTT (yet).

  • You’re curious about the roots of yoga and its meaning in modern life.

  • More than prior training hours, what matters is a willingness to engage consistently, reflect honestly, and sit with complexity without needing quick conclusions.

If you are looking for instant certification, fast answers, or surface-level philosophy, this program may not be the right fit.

If you are drawn to inquiry, context, and integration over time, you will feel at home here.

What You’ll Learn

Throughout the ten weeks, we will explore yoga philosophy through a cohesive arc rather than isolated concepts.

  • The Yogic worldview through Sāṅkhya and the Yoga Sūtra.

  • Karma, kleśas, and the nature of mind and liberation.

  • The Bhagavad Gītā’s teachings on dharma, action, devotion, and surrender.

  • The Upaniṣadic vision of Self and the five kośas.

  • Foundations of Tantra and Buddhism as parallel pathways.

  • Living the Yamas and Niyamas as embodied ethics.

  • How practice, presence, and philosophy meet in daily life.

  • Each session builds on the previous one, allowing understanding to mature gradually rather than accumulate intellectually.

What You’ll Gain

This immersion is designed to cultivate understanding gradually, with emphasis on discernment, context, and integration rather than accumulation.

  • A grounded understanding of key Indian philosophical systems that shape yoga.

  • Greater confidence engaging with and interpreting classical yoga texts.

  • Clearer understanding of karma, dharma, and the yogic view of freedom.

  • Practical ways to integrate philosophical insight into daily life and teaching.

  • Support in developing a simple, contemplative home practice of meditation and pranayama.

  • Deeper readiness for advanced study, including entry into the 300-hour YTT.
